Joanna Newsom is one of the most original artists out there. Her voice isn't aesthetically pleasing at first, it's a bit harsh and you have to get used to it, but it fits her songs. She also uses the harp as her main instrument, which is pretty incredible. This is the first song I heard by her and although I have almost her complete discography it's still my favorite.
